Why do people get better grades in board exams than in usual exams?

Posted by

We’ve all observed how we/our peers do much better in the final board exams than in the exams during 11th and 12th grade. The following could be the reasons why:

  1. They work harder during the main boards. We all get an extra kick during boards because of our family and teachers’ pressures.
  2. Checking is more lenient than school checking. The school always wants to prepare you for the worst.
  3. Boards are much easier than school papers/pre boards. The school always makes a tougher paper.
  4. You do the same thing in different tests- July, half yearly, second term, pre boards. It never leaves you so you’re much better by the time the boards come. If you just give your best in these, you can do well there.
